Synopsis: This webinar was divided into two main sections. The first section focuses on optimizing antenatal care during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first part highlights that pregnant women should follow the same recommendations as non-pregnant persons for avoiding exposure COVID-19 infection, antenatal care through teleconferencing and videoconferencing is key to providing quality care during the pandemic, triage based on symptom severity and obstetric emergencies is important, and multidisciplinary approach to management of suspected or confirmed cases is key. The second part focuses on management of labor and delivery in women with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection. The second part highlights the health facilities' preparedness to handle suspected or confirmed women of COVID-19, all women despite the pandemic have a right to have "Safe and Positive Childbirth Experience," and breast feeding should be encouraged in eligible neonate. The webinar concluded with a Q&A session with all of the speakers.
