Synopsis: This webinar deals with the effects of COVID-19 on health, economy and society and how these are especially critical for those who are at risk of illness, exposure and mortality, and those who are impacted most by the economic downturn. The fear of the deprioritization of MNRHiE programs during COVID-19 is discussed as they believe there is a great risk of exacerbating already existing inequalities in MNRHiE services. In response, the panelists and consultants talk about the the challenges and successful adaptions during COVID-19 of MNRHiE programs; the global implementation of the programs; the challenges, gaps and successes of current COVID-19 guidelines and tools; and their recommendations to support MNRHiE programs to enhance quality and accessibility of services to vulnerable individuals in future COVID-19 outbreaks.
